Larian Studios Unveil a Latest Divinity, Labeling it Their Biggest RPG to Date
The speculation around The Game Awards has been intense, especially after presenter Geoff Keighley shared a mysterious image of a desert monolith. The question has now been solved. Larian Studios is developing a brand-new Divinity game.
Titled simply Divinity, the game was debuted with a daring trailer featuring intense imagery, from a burning man to scenes of revelry and the literal unleashing of hell.

Anyone expecting Divinity Original Sin 3, that is not happening. Larian stated ahead of time that a direct sequel to its venerated RPGs is not on the cards right now.
However, the developer referred to this new Divinity as a next chapter of the core franchise. This choice of words hints that the team might be crafting a real-time experience as opposed to another turn-based title. At this moment, it remains theory, as only a cinematic trailer is available.
