I'll stamp all over 'serious combatant' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the usual face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really happening.
